I am very pleased to introduce you to Hotaru (japanese for firefly) , one of my favourite designs to date.

Hotaru was designed around a unique LED based filament bulb, provided by IKEA, that boasts an oversized appearance and does not get hot to touch. This adds a great element of personality for this torch bug style robot.

She is perfect for providing ambient mood lighting to your space, is posable with 10 points of articulation around her head and shoulders, allowing you to really show off her charm to its full potential. Her back legs have two decorative metal shock absorbers to help give her a distinctive look.

This robot is likely to be one of a kind as these bulbs were a limited run.
